In over 50 years of owning horses I have come in contact with all types of so called horse trainers. I have paid cash upfront only to have my horse stand in a stall, be pulled out and have his face ripped on, under worked, confused and abused. I have handed trainers cash and had them look me straight in the eye an lie about their agreement with me. Tell you “They’re doing fine” when you inquire as to the horses advancement and bad mouth the horse to other clients behind your back, but never discuss the horse fairly and honestly to your face.” I’ve had trainers let anyone who happens to be in their barn get on other clients horses! Needless to say, when the truth comes to the surface those trainers are never asked or allowed to ride for me again, and will be the cause of their own destruction in the business without me naming names. The trainers I list below are trainers I have used that I CAN and DO vouch for. They RIDE the horses you take them, they work with your concerns for that horse, and above all they are HONEST to both YOU and YOUR HORSE. You will not waste your money and your horse will be in good hands with these local trainers.
